WATCH: Fast and Furious star hits 201mph in Jaguar F-Type

MICHELLE Rodriguez records personal best top speed in fastest-ever Jaguar.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR –the fastest production car ever to wear the Jaguar badge – has just undergone its first high-speed test drive, with Fast and Furious star Michelle Rodriguez at the wheel.
The cars was put through its paces on a closed highway in the Nevada desert, home to the Silver State Classic Challenge, said to be the world’s fastest road race.
The actress managed to squeeze the car’s top speed of 201mph out of the F-Type SVR’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8, which has been modified to produce 567bhp. Rodriguez had never driven at that speed before.

Acceleration from 0-60mph takes just 3.5 seconds, with an official top speed of 200mph (or 201mph in the real world) for the Coupé., The F-Type SVR is priced from £110,000 for the Coupé and £115,485 for the Convertible.
